There is a Day 2!

Since Day 1, I have been super excited about my blog and even have my first follower!! Yeah for Casey Wiegand!  She's my blog idol... haha... no, no idols here... but she is definitely an inspiration.

Day 2 of blogging... Well... technically, the sun has set, and I'd love to write that my creativity is just beginning... but not so much.  My fingers have typed a ton today and I just wanted to write a quick note.  That's why blogging is cool.  Just a little note here and there marks an entire journey.  Yeahh...

So, the film journey has gone well today.  I've had some good meetings and was asked to be in a filmmaker group with some awesome professionals.  I thank God for this opportunity.  It could have a lot of potential and I hope that myself will just keep truckin' along and by God's leading, make it happen.

I received a call today from a trusted friend and actress who loved my script.  In fact, she called me crying. I was so touched by her comments and relation to the script.  As a writer, it's hard for me to believe that someone else might actually like what is going on in that brain of mine.  So, when I get a call like hers, I'm truly touched and just take it as a confirmation from my good Lord saying: "Hang on to me and keep going." I suppose that is what Joshua 1:9 is all about.  "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

I think I could probably write an entire piece by breaking down this verse... it would go something like this... [mind my comments]  "Have I not commanded you? [Oh yes... this is a command...] Be strong and courageous. [Not so much] Do not be afraid [How did I get an OD of this?] ; do not be discouraged [uh, too late], for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. [ahhh... *sigh*... I needed to hear that]"  Maybe enough is said.  Yes... it is.  You get the point.

So with that... I give you...

Day 2 folks!

Goodnight!
